changing up the intake today....hope this fixes the slant

it took me a moment to spot it but the power brake fitting kinda seals the deal!

taking the intake off today hopefuoll this solves it...if not here another 2 weeks for intake gaskets

problem solved intake was installed wrong anyways new problem...my rockers arms makes a click click click sound(bouth sides and quite a few of them) ....my mechanic said it was fine to drive until the new pushrods came in(about 8 days)
is it oke to drive the car?
its got new lifters, cam(driven about 200 miles)

thats the first time ive ever actually seen that running and driving.

why do you need new rockers? are they the wrong length? you could do some real damage running any engine with the valvetrain out of whack! what is the cam? some cams can make a bit of noise even hyd. cams if they have fast ramps,

Just so i understand, are you saying your engine builder knowingly sent you home with the wrong pushrods and told you to continue driving it that way?

I'd tend to think with so many making the clicking sound it's probably leaky header gaskets - they tend to sound exactly the same as a noisy valve gear. Have you tried the screwdriver trick? I'm sure you know it, but incase you dont... With the engine running, hold the butt of the screwdriver to your ear and hold the tip to the valvecover right over a cylinder. Keep moving over each rocker until you hear a noticable ticking sound on one (or a few in your case). That'll give you an idea of where the problem(s) are. I you dont hear any that are noticably louder than the others it's prob the header gaskets.

its a luncati 60303 cam and im pretty sure its not leaking headers...its not a loud click sound like an header leak..its more like a....well if you put sand in an coke can and shake.... that sound ..thats the best i can describe it..ill try putting up a video

dude you seriously need to get that rubber fuel line off of and away from the headers and turn the carb fuel line around facing the front. im sorry man , but that is some mickey mouse work right there and that car is going to burn to the ground if you dont straighten it out. the fuel pump is in front , not the back of the engine and over the headers ...........just sayin man

You never answered the question - are you saying your engine builder assembled your motor w the wrong pushrods and sent you home w the promise the right ones would be in in 8 days? The fact you and your engine builder feel its ok to even turn the motor over in that condition just baffles me. If that is what you are saying.

yup thats what happened...im sorry just to get clear as im fairly new to this...we put the engine backtogether and ran about 200 miles with the same pushrods.the car runs fine and very stronge anyws not runnig it anymore unitill i get the new pushrods..(how do i find out if any my engine got any damage?hopefully not but yeah
