Can someone tell me what i would have to do, to do a big block swap in a small block A833?
The transmission is a 73 A833 for small block according to Brewers.

Use a big block bell housing that fits the existing front bearing retainer diameter and clutch diameter you have currently. Brewer should be able to get the correct part.

Is there a flywheel balance issue?

The flywheel is balanced to the engine. The clutch and pressure plate are neutral balanced and do not effect the engine balance. You simply swap the clutch parts onto the flywheel.

‘73-340’s, all 360’s are externally balanced and differently than big blocks. So the correct flywheel must be used to the engine. Your big block will need the correct flywheel for its balance.

Just get the correct bearing retainer that fits the bearing on the transmission input, with the proper OD to fit the Big Block bell housing you are using. If a true 73 4 speed, it probably has the larger 308 bearing on the input to the transmission.
