Small block vs big block 727

So I am considering a big block swap. Car currently has a 318/727 combo.

I'm just assuming that both 727 trannies have the same mounting point.

Are the the same length? Or will I need to get a driveshaft?

The only difference is the bell housing size. The big block trans will bolts right back in the same place.
