Hey Bud, you should change your name to "The Library"
Once you get the rear tires spinning, you really don't have to hold the brake that hard but yeah, it'll heat em up some but probably no more than braking from 100Burn-outs.. Not everyone has a line lock. What does it do to rear brakes??.........................MO

Don't laugh. One night many many years ago in my youth I owned a 383 4sp dart convertible (yes a real one). After a heavy night of beer consumption I was going to show a friend how I could pop the clutch then grab the brake and do a brake torque with a 4 speed. All seemed well until I smelled the wrong substance burning. I drove it home. The next morning on my way to work, I did mention this was my daily driver, right, I went to quickly accelerate to get into traffic. Needless to say it didn't move very well.By FAR my favorite burnout video!
