Of course I don't have a video...the event happened in 1975. There was this girl in school, very quiet and demure. Sort of shy and pretty like Bailey Quarters was on WKRP. But on the last day of school, I heard a noise outside and took a look. There she was, in her car. She had a 1964 Impala with a 409, no idea if it was 4 or dual quads but whatever she was in the mood and did a nice slow burnout.
Tires squeeling, she slowly, slowly...walking speed..smoked up the roadway and gradually crawled past the school.
About fifty feet behind, a cop car kept pace and followed her down the block and out of sight.. I don't know what the outcome was, but of all the stuff that could have been going through my mind on the last day of school in grade 12, that's what I remember most.
