So here's my problem

I wasn't a fan of cragars back in the old days, cause they rusted on daily drivers, but that clearly isn't going to happen here. They look great on your car. The magnums in your post #13 would look killer too.
If your car was mine, i think i would put on some 17" 200s (daisies). Just enough different than tt2s. I found a deal on 17x7s polished. (Maybe. Company says call for availability confirmation.)

I need new tires, although they look new they're 13 years old. I like the tires, but I have 225/70R14 on the front and 255/60R15 on the back, not a problem for me. I'm thinking of changing up wheels and maybe go with a magnum 500 or Torque Thrust 2, which I have used on all my other cars. I like the look now, but 14's on front and 15's on back with new wheels, I'd probably need to go 15 all the way around. What do you all think!

That's just one beautiful car you have there Hey-O!

I am also a big fan of your car. The Cragars look really good, but I do understand the want for a little change. Im thinking I would just put 15's on the front.
Im thinking I want to try some 17's on my 65 Satellite

I don't think much will improve that look you have now.
That is a NICE looking car!

PS: That is one of the better problems to have.

i used to own one of those wayyy bitd, loved that car.
with the window tint you have, may i suggest a rather different idea?
a set of 15 or 17 inch Keystone classics would absolutely set that car off.
some cars just look badass with those rims and your bodystyle is one of them, imo.

Im really digging the exposed ag driveway! Car looks good too! Keep it the way it is and melt those old ones off!
Thanks, the driveway is a two part stone epoxy, 5/8 inch thick. It was troweled on. You pick the color rocks and it's mixed in a concrete mixer with the epoxy. I had the same stuff put around my pool except in earth tone colors. Water never sit on top, it run through the stones and out. Ten times stronger than concrete. The best part is if the concrete cracks, you can repair the topping. It's totally chemical proof, oil, gas, you name it, it wipes off or brushes off.

Man, I just
You know I love me some Magnums

Man, I just love that car so much....
Anyways, I dig the Cragars (which should have been shipped with a can of Mother's Mag Polish - each :)),
but I love me some Magnums also - but if you go that route, there used to be two makers of the repro Magnums
and one is definitely better than the other.
My GTX came with a set of Magnums and the PO obviously chose the cheaper repros - they've proven to be a
challenge to keep the tarnish off of, even though they were chrome to begin with.
It's almost as if the rims are corroding from the inside out!

I have heard about problems with some of the repro Magnum 500s too. I am considering a set of 15s for the rear of my car to replace the old 14s. Can anybody tell us which supplier to use, or NOT to use?

It's funny, Mopars are so different than GM as far as what you can get away with, IMO. My other cars I would run TT2's, staggered, 20 and 18 or 18 and 16 or 17 all the way around. I can't see that on this car. I could see, Keystone classics, steelies with small center hub caps, Magnum 500 or Cragar SS. Most of the Road Runners don't look right dropped with a 20, 18 stagger. It has to be done right. I thank you all very much for all your honest opinions and I truly needed it from guy that flat out get it, die hard Mopar drivers and builders. I'm keeping what I have, 14, 15 stagger, with new BF Goodrich or Cooper Cobras and a case of masks.........LOL

I think the Keystone Classics would look great on her also.

The choice of rims should be what YOU want, but I agree that you should select 15" rims all around, much better tire choices available for 15" than 14".

Beautiful car!!!

Go with something unique - your car is awesome and unique the way it is - everyone has cragers or torque thrusts for rims and yes they look nice - but that’s just me I don’t like having things that everyone else has ha.
