Actually, here in Mexico, I will miss all the slick commercials. Stuck with the usual ones.

All of the apathy expressed here makes me wonder if car nuts are are group that are not very athletically inclined on the average? I was always picked last (or close to last) when forming grade school teams. But I'm still watching the game today, even if I was mostly a bench warmer. Another thought just crossed my mind, aren't there cheerleaders on the sidelines?

Used to play a lot of sand lot base ball, soft ball (the girls didn't want to play hard ball ), and touch foot ball but again, girls didn't really want to play TFB either for some reason lol

I'm a big sports fan, hockey, baseball, football. Used to have a super bowl party every year for the past 20 years with my buddies. Since the "kneel" issue, NFL is terminated. Have not watched since.

girls didn't really want to play TFB either for some reason

All the neighborhood kids used to play tackle football on our front lawn, boys and girls mixed on the teams we picked. One of the girls next door was kinda big and made a good blocker.

Then one season the mother next door decided it was "too dangerous" for her two girls to participate. Looking back on it now, I think mother did not want us "touching" her adolescent females any longer. Maybe dangerous, but in a sense I did not comprehend at the time as the girls matured physically more and more.

Watching some of the playoff games while doing more productive things, TV in shop, the rancid officiating really pissed me off. Either drop the reviews or add idiotic officiating to the reviews so the friggin officials don't have more power to win or lose a game than the players. Good thing the SB isn't being held in NO this year. I'm not a NO fan but they got shafted and won't get into a few calls in another playoff game that sucked. Nope, not watching the SB today.

I have cut way back on NFL viewing
I still see an occasional game, not all weekend...

(seems the NFL is trying to make up for the Colan Peckerneck's
anti-military/anti-flag/anti-LEO's/anti-Patriotic kneeling BS
that carried over a 2nd year, all the teams that were complicit
now they have big props to the 1st responder commercials,
still won't make up for all the negativity, fans that bailed)

I'll have the game on
