The story of this car that had Jack Werst go up against Ray Allen’s LS6 SS Chevelle convertible at Atco Dragway is legendary. I wonder what happened to that “modified” Superbird? The Ray Allen car sold for $1.2 mil back around ‘03. It was sold again around 2011 in Vegas and hammered at $275k. What a drop! The guy that bought it drove it back to LA. So...a happy ending!
