Some Hemi **** to share :)

Sorry it took so long! I promised some "Hemi ****" to some of you last winter, but the restoration process has kept me busy.
Anyway, here is the 426 Hemi block for the 71 Charger! I haven't purchased any components yet, so input would be much appreciated! I just wanted to secure the block since it was such a rare find. The body is currently a couple of hours away getting dipped. Body work will begin as soon as it returns!

What kind of dipping is being done?

Good Solid Bottom End--Mopar Crank, H-Beam Rods, Clevite Mains And Rod Bearings And Good Pistons! (My Choice Rosses).

The whole body is being alkaline dipped to remove all of the old paint and rust. Hopefully it will be ready to come home this weekend.

Oh it's so cute. Your block looks like a little baby nicely cuddled up in it's bassinet. I'm sure it will grow up to be at least a little snarly and nasty, and make his Dad proud!

What a little Hemi **** tease...LOL... call Mancini Racing or Ray Barton Racing Engines both great places... Mopar Performance, Callies, Ohio Crankshaft, & Eagle are all reputable suppliers, KB, ICONE, Diamond, Ross, JE, Wiesco are all good too, Commetic for head gaskets, heads there are a few different one to chose from, do your research, get heads for your specific type build & needs, the valve train components are expensive... I would 1st suggest that have the block magna-fluxed, if you haven't already, make sure, there's no cracks before you spend any more money, most Hemi's were drove hard & put away wet, it's cheap insurance... Don't go cheap, buy quality parts the 1st time & good luck... There are some great books on the Hemi, including the ones shown below, Mopar Performance "Hemi Engines" #P48766824, like $35....
