You guys know i bought a clone Super Bee, its really a 69 Coronet 440.

I was crawling around fixing the small stuff, getting the washer squirters working, they were plugged etc.

I am amazed at the person who had the car before. He spent a lot of time on the body, look down the side and there is not a ripple in it, he under coated the whole thing, and the trunk, and spent a ton on the 3 inch exhaust, and took the bumpers off to shoot them seperate from the body.

But then there are some WTF??? things

Did a Coronet 440 have a wiring harness for the side marker lights? i was checking to see why they were not working, there is not a harness connected, nor any wires present for it.

The fender turn signals were not hooked up, plugged them in, one light was burned out, or not there. How do you get to the bulb in there, i dont see a access panel to get to it

He had some dumb light up skull license plate frame using the power for the light for the plate, apparently he wasnt afraid of being pulled over.

How do you test the voltage limiter? Ground the temp sensor, and turn key on and if the gauge pegs, its not the limiter? If so, mine didnt move.

For the fender mounted turn signals you have to remove the lens to get at the bulb. The lens itself should have a little crevice down the middle of it and use a standard screwdriver to remove it. If you are having any problems with your guages here is a link to an article mopar muscle mag did on repairing and troubleshooting them http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/...air_and_diagnose_instrument_gauges/index.html

Thanks Eagleone. I actually took one off today. Mine are the box style L31 option.

It looks like the whole thing is a unit. It has its own plug in harness and looks like its one piece. Even if you could get the lens off you would need a pair of barbie hands to remove the bulb. Maybe i will go look again though.

Looked again, definetly no crevice or slot for a screw driver.

I never gave it much thought, but I believe the side markers for 69 are just reflectors. I have a 69 RR and the rears are definitely reflectors.

Ok I see...those are different than the ones I was thinking. Mine are like little bullets. I can't tell how those will work but I'll check my maintenance book and see if they are listed in there.
