Very nice car!! Really curious tho, why spend that kind of money and build a 392? It's nothin' for nothin' to me, just curious.

Yeah, whatever. Tell that garbage to Don Garlits.

To the OP, beautiful car.

Rusty: Weren't you the guy that gave all us 'crossram' guys a bad time about 'outdated' equipment? Garlits hasn't run 392s for a very, very, long time... To the OP: Beautiful car and I love your choice of motors..

Love the engine choice! And the car! Nice to see you put a joystick in her too!

Wow, Thats a neighbor aggravation tool for sure! Very nice 63 man,,

Yup. ...and you haven't been paying attention to Garlits lately. He still runs them. Although exhibition. How many records did he set with the early Hemi again? Crossrams suck. lol

We quit running iron block 392s in the mid 70s when the aluminum Donovan blocks became available. Garlits' motors may look like 392s, but they're not, just as NONE of the current fuel or alcohol cars are, with the exception of some of the nostalgia racers. They are aluminum motors by Donovan, Pink, Milodon and a miriad of other manufacturers purposely cast without water jackets and with massive reinforcement to withstand the tremendous (10,000 +-) horsepower the fuel engines produce. The last time I saw Don was at the US Nationals racing a new superstock car courtesy of Dodge. When was it that you saw him in an 'exhibition' race? When you do see him, put a magnet on the block... BTW, what happened to the Mr. Nice Guy attitude?

you are exactly right 77. i am the biggest fan of any guy, building any car, any way he wants. It was just a question. BTW back in the day i had a 392 in a '50 4 door dodge (because i could). Again Speed Awesome car!

Beautiful car - thanks for the pics!:headbang:

Guy's thanks for all the comments...I am 66 years old and just remember the 392 at Lyons, worked hard all my life and finally able to get something that reminds me of better days....these 92's are not as fast, went with the 4spd which is also not as fast as the 727 but just like the combo dont have the doe to race the car so....

Anyway..thanks for all the feedback...Love the B bodies......

Just curious, how does it do against that viper you have? Both are very nice cars.

Dude, were it not for the IRON early Hemi, there'd be NO Donovan. There'd be NO 2nd Gen Hemi. I don't get it. I don't know what's up some peoples asses about the early Hemi. I think it must be jealousy.

how many crossrams have you had to say they suck? if they sucked i dont think chrysler would have used them on the factory drag cars through out the sixties.
