Some photos of my 1963 Dodge 330 Hemi

That's a really neat car and I like it a lot. I think the 392 is really a cool idea. I love to see someone who has done something a little different. Very nice car, Sir!

Sorry. Rusty. This post. #18, just doesn't make sense to me. I said I liked the OP's choice of motors. Don't you think we know where the aluminum hemi blocks are derived from? Come on, man. Make your point without the childish remarks. It's really boring...

Great looking car and a perfect engine choice. You can make some nice HP and they are a little more to build but worth it.

Just curious, how does it do against that viper you have? Both are very nice cars.
22 Both are great straight line cars, if I can get the Dodge to hook up it would be a close 1/4 mile...I have larger injectors on the Viper shifts out of 2nd just shy of 100...taking the 330 to John Force show in December 2nd I will post some photos...Thanks again for the feedback....

I have a 392 in my 40 ford although it is not blown like your motor mine runs dam good. Garlits first used a 392 in a 39 ford as a daily and then pulled it to use in his dragster and the rest is history.

Rusty: Weren't you the guy that gave all us 'crossram' guys a bad time about 'outdated' equipment? Garlits hasn't run 392s for a very, very, long time... To the OP: Beautiful car and I love your choice of motors..

Gee Dave,
Seems to me Rusty WAS supporting the 63 Hemi Build buy "speedchangesyou"
Seems 2059 was questioning THIS build and the money in the 392. (I like it too)
I must be missing something cuz Rusty always gives me a "thumbs up" on my 63s Max Wedge engine w/ the A&A crossram.

Guy's thanks for all the comments...I am 66 years old and just remember the 392 at Lyons, worked hard all my life and finally able to get something that reminds me of better days....these 92's are not as fast, went with the 4spd which is also not as fast as the 727 but just like the combo dont have the doe to race the car so....

Anyway..thanks for all the feedback...Love the B bodies......

ah yes...Lyons...
Built in 1955 and closed in 1972
Some say: "it ALL happened at Lyons"
Wow, Mickey Thompson ran Lyons in the early 60s. tommy Ivo was always there. The Swamp Rat came here in the early days and whooped A$$!!!
It was the place.
Thank you "speedchangesyou" !!!!!
You lived it, you were there. I'm full of respect for you and your build and you generation.
PS: I'm 59 and I'm building a 63 polara w/ blk exterior red interior.
