Many decades ago told a buddy about a 69 coronet R/T I saw sitting when I was working delivering pizza. I’m thinking 1976. I was a senior in HS

I had no money so passed the info to him. He bought it for $350.00 I think. It was pretty rust free for being in Buffalo NY. the 440 had a bad tick so out that came for rebuild.

We reconnected a few weeks ago Almost by accident. I was shocked he still has the car. Hasn’t been driven in decades. Got it painted a long time ago but never finished putting it back together. Bone stock I still remember 13.3 at 103mph back then.

no, I didn’t and won’t ask him to sell it.

You should go help him reassemble it over pizza and beer in the garage.

I bought mine back in 82 for 500.00. I still have it. Don't have any pictures handy.

That's a cool story
I bought my RR in Buffalo. North Tonawanda to be exact.

what a waste, missed out on a lot of fun.
