Hello,
I have a 74 Charger w/an LA360 and an inop speed control servo. It appears the previous owner removed and capped the vacuum line coming out of the servo, and the inlet/outlet on the check valve mounted on the brake booster.

From looking at the FSM I can tell how things are routed up until we get to the "to intake manifold" section of the picture. The black and white pictures of the manifold are too shoddy on the FSM to tell what the heck is going on. Does anyone have a picture of where this vacuum line goes?

There are a couple capped off nipples on the carb that match what the tube size would be but this page clearly states that it should go to the intake manifold.

There should be a vacuum fitting in the rear end of the intake, and will have a number of tee's for vacuum lines. It will go there, to one that fits. The PVC, AISC, and/or dist will go to the carb.

There is or should be ONLY one vacuum line going to the servo and that goes directly to the valve on the brake booster.
The other line is the servo cable that attaches to the linkage of the carb. I have a 400 and 318/360 is a bit different but you can get the idea. I will attach a pic of mine and a few of a factory set up on another car I took to be sure mine was correct.
Also go to my website and download the Chrysler Speed Control Reference book.

Good stuff! I'm devouring up that Speed Control literature. After looking at the photos of the brake booster mounted check valve, I remember there is already a thick hose coming out of mine. Unsure if it's connected at the other end but I'll check it out when I get home.

I thought the two smaller nipples on that check valve were speed control related and the thick hose was brake booster related but I see that you have the top nipple capped off as well.

This check valve is only using the brake booster for a mounting location then?

Yes, I have it capped because at the time I didn't have a 2 spout valve. I have been meaning to get one, thanks for reminding me.
There is an older style servo that looks just like the later ones but uses 2 vacuum hoses, I have no idea what the other hose goes to. If I recall a conversation I had with a fellow with his 69, it has something to do with the brake disengage where we would have a switch instead. I posted his pic below but again, this is NOT correct for 72 and up.

If you notice it only has 2 wires instead of 3 like ours.
