Splicing in a Proportioning valve?

A pic will help.

I need to bend/twist the original line 90 degrees toward the front of the car. Can I just twist it or do I need to bend it straight then back the direction I need?
Go to your local parts store and buy a tubing bender. They don't cost much. Otherwise you will kink the line.

I just re read your question. You should be able to twist it. Use a deep well socket over the fitting with a extension on it for leverage. Go slow and make sure it's twisting on the long run of the tubing and not up at the fitting.

you can also use a piece of pipe to bend brake lines, it is easy and it works great

I guess I also need the change the head as that origins one is too big for my valve outlet.

Not sure if it is just the picture but your rear resovoir in you MC appears rusty in the fluid area....Is it just picture quality?

Most auto parts store will loan you a flaring tool, I did mine that way.

Yep, got a loaner.

How tight can I make a u bend and still have the line function? My line needs to make a 90 coming out of the MC, go a few inches then make a U turn towards the drives side to enter the proportioning valve.

For those visual learners out here. Here is a drawing. In need to mount it this way because that is all the reach my stock line ,that used to go from the MC down to the block, has.

Thanks for the help everyone. Just got the new MC installed (bench bled first) as well as the proportioning valve. I'm going to clean up some of the wire stuff later but here it is.
