I remember the drought years there. Dry grass, bare patches, holes in the ground, it wasn’t pretty.
That looks nice, Steve.
Thanks for keeping this show and club going. If it is anything like it is up here, yours is a job that garners a lot of comments from people that think they could do a better job but nobody ever steps up to try. It is difficult to keep all the people happy.

Just got notice and registration that this Aussie Charger will be for sale at Spring Fling.

Not everyday you see one of these. Nor find one for sale you can see in person.

2006. It soaked the park so bad but Steve and his crew secured the spot across the street. That was the year I saw Joey Buttafuco selling ice cream in a booth there. He denied he was Joey but his face was on every tabloid rag in the store. It was him… the Long Island body shop guy that had that dust up with Amy Fisher.

Not sure. Reading story sounds like it was in Georgia. And has Georgia plates. I remember a Bayer Bros or something owning a few Aussie cars in Georgia. Not sure if that has a Jeff connection too?

2006. It soaked the park so bad but Steve and his crew secured the spot across the street. That was the year I saw Joey Buttafuco selling ice cream in a booth there. He denied he was Joey but his face was on every tabloid rag in the store. It was him… the Long Island body shop guy that had that dust up with Amy Fisher.

I’m pretty sure they sold that business. It was him and his new wife’s. IIRC, they made it successful.

… within 4 days notice we had that never seen by us park pretty dailed in. The only issue it had was the narrow bottleneck entry. Afterwards we found a possible 2nd entry that might have worked for swappers if dry.
Park dept said off limits. Never again. and they planted a bunch of trees really close together in there.

That was the year a guy got arrested for trying to sell a stolen car... He bought it, had a California title... But the guy before him stole it from his bosses warehouse and had forged documents to get the title....

• Spring Fling Malibu Cruise -9am leaving from Woodley Park. Ending in Malibu lunch at Dukes Restaurant on beach.
• 2pm Midway setup
• 2pm Early swap setup
• All makes famous Bobs Big Boy Burbank Cruise In 3pm-10pm

SATURDAY:

• 7am Spring Fling show and swap
• Show Field: No judging, open parking
• Manufacturers Midway
• Special Wing Car display
• Food vendors for breakfast and lunch
• 4pm Spring Fling All Mopar Cruise In

SUNDAY:

• 7am Spring Fling show and swap
• Show Field: Judging provided (not mandatory), class parking
• Manufacturers Midway
• Special Wing Car display
• Food vendors for breakfast and lunch
• 2pm Trophy Presentation
