hey guys, i am new to mopars but am looking high and low for a 65 belvedere II, my dad had one about thirty years ago and i would love to restore one for him. im 19 years old and am currently working on getting my master ASE certifications. i am an automotive technology student in pittsburg kansas and am trying to get my feet wet in restoration. if anybody has a good idea of where to start looking for a car i would love some input. ill post more when i get a car, thanks for your help.

Welcome aboard.....Good luck on your hunt. Be sure to check out the Mopars for sale section here on FBBO. Also check FABO, FEBO, and FCBO in their cars for sale threads. B-bodies turn up there as well.

Follow the For A,C,E Bodies links at the top center of the page.

ok so heres an update. we found some old pictures of the car and it was actually a belvedere I with a 426. my dad is adamant that the car was not a hemi, but i though 426s were all hemis. does anyone know for sure?

Welcome to the site, not all 426's were hemi's.

dads65 welcome to FBBO that's a nobile cause. Here are a couple of other sites you may have some luck at. Hotrodhotline.com , Autabuy.com , Craigslist , E-Bay , Racejunk.com , MoparMuscleMagazine , Hemmings Motor News , Max Wedge Registry , MyMopar.com , Plymouth Registry , Plymouth Connection & there is allways a Google Search Mopars for sale or 65 Belvedere I 426 Stage III Super Stock Wedge. These cars are kind of rare & can be a bit pricey at times. Good luck. Happy Moparing
