I have 1970 Plymouth Satellite. Installed MSD ignition, with electronic distributor. With the transmission in park, the car will start, then when I go turn it over again and it will not. I move column shifter from park and back into park, it will turn over again.. What could be the problem? I just changed the neutral switch as well and changed the starter relay too.

Hmmm...interesting problem. So you are saying you start it in park and let her run for a while then shut if off. Then you go to start and it won't start until you shift the car down and back up to park. At any point after you started it the first time did you shift the car? I'm wondering if maybe the linkage is a tad too short and the park lever is not fully activating. Just a thought.

Yes shift linkage is off... stars fine in neutral. .

Cool, so problem solved? Where you able to adjust your linkage?
