I've had this car for a few years and was going to start on it back in 2010. But I had cancer but thing it ok with the cancer, now for the car. So it has been put on hold but now I have started by tearing down and removing motor and trans, fenders, front floor pan and front and rear windows. I'm now getting it up on a rotissie, then the rear end will come out. The car is in really good shape with rust in the front floor that I removed and in the trunk and around the back window but other then that not much more. I'm going to try and do as much as I can by myself so I will be asking for help from all you pro's out there. Here are some of the pictures I have taken. Wish me luck Thanks Mike

It's good to see another 69 Net coming back to life. It looks like you'll have your work cut out for you in some areas, like the rear window. Keep the pics and updates coming. We like out car ****. :eusa_clap:

That will keep you busy for awhile. Keep the pics. coming, it will be a great looking car when finished. I don't know that I have ever seen rust on the pedal assembly bracket like that one. Must have been leaking from the cowl area.

Good to hear you got that cancer kicked in the butt. Good deal! I agree with these fella's, plenty to keep you busy. Call me nuts, but was always a big fan of that dark green color on the 68/69 Coronets.

I suggest if your going to do a lot of rust repair don't put it on a rotisserie just yet. I would level the car on several (6-8) tail jack stands, cut and weld new metal in. The structure my warp if you cut to much out on a rotisserie.

Mike i wish you the very best luck with your build, and i agree with the green on these myself, i had it on a couple cars but these seem to look great with it. It looks like a great project! Have fun :)

I have not put it on the rotisserie yet and I want to put the floor pan in before that. I've always like the F8 green I had it on my first 69 bee but sold it after being medically discharged from the Army in 1990. The family always comes first but now I'm starting this build, don't know what color yet but a long time still to go. I know I have a lot of rust in some areas, what would be the best way to do that back window area??? I'm thinking the best way would be cutting it all out and buying new corners and bottom lip then weld it all back in.

Thanks guy's I will need all the help I can get. I was looking at the rear side windows, what is the best way to take them out??? It looks like you would just undo the nuts and bolts and then pull everything out or is there a different way of doing it, does the door windows come out the same way????? Thanks Mike

You definitely have your work cut out for you. Looks like all the cancer left you and attached itself to the car. Glad you got rid of your cancer, now go play doctor and take care of the car.

I need HELP ? should I start in the trunk area or the inside full floor???? I'm thinking of starting in the trunk area because I was going to put the car on a rotisserie. The floor pan I think would be easy to do on the rotisserie but it would be harder to do the trunk and rear panel if it was on the rotisserie (rotisserie would get in the way). What would you do?????? Thanks Mike
