If your in the market for shocks for your Mopar don't go here:

https://www.performanceonline.com/1963-74-MOPAR-CHRYSLER-PLYMOUTH-DODGE-SUSPENSION-PARTS/

Having ordered a specific set of rear shocks for my Mopar these dudes not only sent the wrong ones listed on their site ( with their part #'s ) but sent any old set that don't fit my car at all. The bill enclosed had an "item # (wrong) and a part description (right) and sent me neither. Upon contacting them (their customer service reeks and their no Summit Racing) I was told repeatedly that they'd call me right back, WRONG! Having my email, phone number and being well aware of the situation you'd think they'd care enough about their customers to call back and keep me informed but such is not the case. They did not even offer a return on the purchase. I have never been a fan of companies that won't take ownership of their errors but this company seems to not even wish to acknowledge the issue at hand. I'll stick with P.S.T. or Summit from now on and I advise you to do the same. Performance Online's mission statement must be:

I am not having a good experience with them either Yatzee. I ordered suspension parts and a disc brake kit for my 62. Received the suspension parts but still waiting on the disc brakes. Placed order a month ago. I agree that their customer service stinks and the fact that they don't return your call. I will not do business with them ever again. I just hope everything works out ok with the stuff i bought.

I had a nightmare working with a so called well reputed shop in Silver Lake WI which I'll not name unless someone wants to email me for details. I gave this outfit several opportunities to undo at least some of the damage they did; but took my money and ignored my messages. They did a half-*** job installing a disc brake kit and punched a hole in my convert top they swear they didn't do. And they charged me $700 to adjust the rear that only lead to another rebuild elsewhere...the adjustment was way off. As I told them, I think it wasn't a matter of inability more to push the job out their door. Nice to be too busy I guess and not be concerned with unhappy customers.

yeah id second the Summit recc.
after a bunch of timewasting and farting around online i finally convinced my friend to just order Summit.
that was 2 days ago,the parts are here today!!
....instead of a 10 day maybe window from " the other guys "
i told him that makes any extra price difference worth it.

Thank you fr the information. I plan to stick with who works, Summit, PST depending on what is needed.

Ron H, you should drop names so all are aware. Why be shy? Don't you think these thieving bastards should be exposed so no one else gets a sausage in the keyster?

Save a bro the hassle.
Don't make a pig squeal!

Finally got the right shocks for the rear of my 65 today. They fit like a glove but I had to remove the upper boot as it was rubbing on the rear sway bar. POL came through finally but it was a long and financially fearful wait. Thanks to Jessie at POL.

I should mention my experience with Summit. I ordered rear shocks for my '66 Satellite, but ordered the wrong part number. When I got them, oops. I callled Summit and the rep asked what car I had and then said he'd ship the replacements out that afternoon AND have UPS pick up the incorrect shocks. Fantastic service!

At least they did come through in the end but your situation is something we all want to avoid.

Thanks for sharing

It's hard to beat Summit or Jegs for customer service.

Ok Rumblefish360 - outfit is Westech Auto. They've been featured as I was told in Hot Rod and maybe other mags. I was impressed with some of the projects they had going some wildly rare muscle cars to drool over. And their mechanic was knowledgeable beyond his years, a talented guy no doubt. The owner, heck of a nice guy, friendly talkative. I thought wow I'd ask them to do the brake conversion since they had my car in anyway for the rear end work. Took like six weeks to get the car back because the brake kits weren't arriving (had another conversion job on a '67 Bel parked next to mine). All came crumbling down when I was called to get my car. My guess is they just had too much work to do and some pricy projects on deck so I became small potatoes. They had no extra space in the building with cars near on top of each other...and that long-length channel stock laying right along side my car sure looked like the stuff that poked a hole through my ragtop. Now waiting patiently for the brake place to call me back after some four attempts...no callback I'll let ya know the name of this place...
