Steel wheels 1970 Charger

Like all have said already, a 15x10 rim and 295/50 tire will fit on the back of your car with perfect backspacing. But you have to understand that every one of our cars are a bit different as far as whats needed for backspacing. I have had this same combo on many cars with bs between 5 1/8" to 5 1/2". I have done this with custom made wheels as well as wheel spacers. And many times you will need a different bs side to side to get them centered.
Yes its true all the cars are a bit different, thank you!!

If it's too close to the fender, there's not much you can do, and your tire is probably as big as YOU can go with your rims.
The problem you have to go bigger is because the wheels you have don't have enough backspace (the distance from the inside edge of the wheel, to the mounting face. (Very typical of the slot mags from the old days).
If you had too much backspace (meaning the tire is too close to the spring), you could use a spacer between the wheel and the drum, to move the tire away a bit. That's what 69 rtse did.
This is that Im looking for… the problem is in my rims. In my old 70 Challenger with rallye wheels and 275 is not near to the fender like the Charger…

Thank you!!!
