I would like to know if a power steering box from a 1968 fury will fit on a 1970 dodge charger the fury has a larger shaft diameter where the pitman arm fits was wondering if someone made a pitman arm that would fit the charger and on the fury box because the box will bolt up and is good I heard that a 1974 box had a larger shaft maybe a pitman arm from that year would work please help tanks for any info mark

welcome to FBBO... I don't think the 68 Fury C-Body Steering box is the same as the 70 Charger B-Body box... I cuold be completely wrong thou... good luck

Welcome. If you google steerandgear
Chrysler 65-72 have 1 1/8 sector shaft & 73 up have 1 1/4. Call them very friendly & knowledgeable.
I have a 68 Charger box for sale $50.00 but shipping will kill the deal.

Know this is a little off topic but you may want to check out the April and more recently the October 2013issues of Mopar Action regarding a new steering box made by Borgeson. It's based on the Grand Cherokee steering box, is smaller, lighter and more precise than the older mope units. It is also 100% drop in. While it isn't cheap, it might be a more worthy endeavor if you are looking for a box that isn't all worn out.

The fury box will fit the charger I put it on Saturday you have to use a 1974 charger pitman arm to make it work thanks for all the help b body guys love this forum mark
