Steering column pin missing???

It's a prostreet 1974 challenger.

I was changing plug wires and noticed a hole in the coupler that holds the column to the power steering box.

This is what I saw:

Is there supposed to be a pin in that hole? It goes all the way through.

Its a hallow roll pin, it looks like it is there from what I am seeing but its hard to tell.

I was panicked.

Don't want to loose steering with 900hp!

Chances are not good that the coupler would come off even if the pin wasn't in there but I guess its possible. Glad it worked out.
