Steering column question

Here is a picture of the steering column shift lever spring that fits a 68 and 69 b-body, a 1970 is over .125" in diameter and will not work unless you drill out where the spring sits. The measurement of the spring is .310" OD, .064" wire thickness and .86" length, I also could not find what the PN is or where I could buy one, to get one I picked up another auto steering column. Also I put 2 pictures of the bearing that is at the bottom of the tube, it will slide off with work, it is not attached with anything.

Parts are sand blasted and epoxy coated for column and some heater box parts mixed in.

Can anyone help with what the lever looks like that mounts to the inner tube that makes contact with the reverse light switch. Mine was missing. You can see the out line of where it use to be.

Just pulled these pics off web, my parts are not readily photographed. If you get the taller black part# 2883211, trim it to the same length as the white one in pic, right after first "step"... everything else is the same. The white one in pic above has retaining "bud" broken off...They just snap into hole on column.

Ok, It's been long enough. Time to get back to it and reassemble all the new and cleaned and painted parts. Pictures are of partslayout and ready to go. New bearings top and bottom, new turn signal switch, and the little black plastic sticklooking thing is the VERY hard to find reverse lever arm that contacts thereverse light switch mounted on the column housing.

I am not familiar with the column shift auto, but where is the orange thingy that tells you what gear you are in?
