Steering Pot Removal?

After removing the roll pin, I used a tie rod pickle fork.
 
I believe the roll pin is 1/4 inch. I used a drill bit and positioned the steering shaft in an accessable spot. Tapped with a BFH. Went back in the same way. Hard on knuckles if the manifolds are on. Good luck.
