I'm still on the hunt for a decent, presentable driver-quality antenna bezel ring. I have everything else to reinstall my '70 Charger antenna. Unfortunately the cost plus shipping plus exchange rate makes buying a repro a rather ludicrous $50 - $60 cost.

Also looking for one decent front bumperette rubber insert. One of my 2 originals is NFG and the other has a tiny crack but is presentable. Thanks.

Can you post a pick of antenna bezel ring. ,I bought a repop for my charger and I might have the original one

Everything is on eBay, but as I mentioned, with the exorbitant shipping rates and currency exchange, it becomes an expensive transaction to buy small items from individual sellers separately. The antenna bezel for the '68 - '70 B-Body looks like this:

QuickBpBp, that looks like the correct bumperette rubber. I'll PM you in a bit. Thanks!

Found this old post:
If your searching for new rubber inserts for your 70 Charger front bumper, we have these available now. These are duplicates of the originals which are impossible to find after 50 years of exposure. These are brand new and will compliment those newly plated bumperettes. A pair of these will $60.00 plus the shipping. If your doing a 70 Coronet with the rear guards, a complete set of four inserts will be $110.00.

If any questions, just drop me a phone call or an email for all of your restoration needs.

Thanks,
Richard

Is this one yours? Are you looking for one better?

Unfortunately no, mine is way worse. Very bad pitting. I have a new tube nut and it would look terrible to install the antenna with my craptastic bezel. :) I'd be happy with one that looked that decent.

Thanks, but I'm not looking to buy one on eBay. By the time that one ships to me, it'll be $50 CAD or more. No thanks. I'd rather buy one from a fellow forum member.

LOL, I'll look tomorrow... but what do you think Canada Post is gonna cost for the 2000 miles these days?

I had some small items ship from Ontario for $17-ish. $17 CAD is a helluva lot cheaper than $25+ USD, not much from USA ships for less than that shipping cost, which works out to $40-ish. :) Furthermore, shipping within Canada doesn't require a Customs declaration form, and a bubble envelope for small items should suffice.

I get it. It seems like all the shipping companies these days know how much it costs to drive a few hundred miles and base their prices on just a little less than that. I just shipped a $20.00 jack hook to Finland today. A 1 lb 10 oz box cost $41.85 to ship. Who knows how much duty the guy will have to pay once it gets there. I think I'm going to stop shipping out of the country. It is just too time consuming. I have at least 3 items up in my loft still boxed up that I spent the time to wrap up, take to the USPS and UPS for quotes that the would-be buyer cancelled when they found out the shipping charges. That was why I said what I said in post 11. Shipping has become a deal breaker these days.

How about the members here that ask for a quote and then ghost you. :BangHead: I dont have time for boxing and getting a price for all that.

I just sent a padded envelope to New Hampshire with a tracking number. It cost 13.80 in our money.

When someone wants to purchase parts.
I get their zip code.
Weigh the part.
Take measurements of the dimensions.
Call Canada Post, give them the information and ask for a quote. Contact the purchaser and tell him the total. Then if he agrees, I box it.
If I want something from the USA, I might have it shipped to a friend in the USA,(Believe it or not, we have friends down South) That’s my story and I am sticking to it! Then our friends send it on.

Sometime ago I purchased two molding clips. 10.00 US. They weighed a few ounces. Box was about 5 inches x5x 2. Sent USPS. Cost 45.00 US. Worked out to around 70.00 Canadian. Almost afraid to use them they are so valuable.

I looked this morning and did not find it. I know its somewhere in here.
