Stole this pile! (1969 Road Runner Project)

Nice, what are your plans with it?

Well, in the past I either did Dog Dish hubcaps on Police wheels, or 15" Cragars, but thought it was time to build something out of my norm. I also rarely do dress up parts under the hood. Just going outside the box a little. Added 18 x 10 Polished Cragar SS wheels to the rear and 17 x 17 in the front. Some fabricated goodies under hood. Just having fun with it. To sum it up I am building a nice driver. :headbang:

Yeah, very nice! That will be beautiful. Going with the hood stripes?

Yeah stock RR hood stripes, and thinking Vinyl top also. Usually don't but saw one a similar color and it had one and looked very cool. Helped break up the color a little and also accented the hood stripes.

I like those valve covers. What brand are they? Nice work on the old girl. Love the color!

Can't remember the brand, I bought them on ebay last year. I like the visible welds. Radiator is the same way also. Thanks for the kudos! :headbang:

just saw your project.I like the color choice you picked out. That will look good with a vinyl top and stripes. Can't wait to see it done.

Thanks! I actually did a 67 Shelby Clone this color about 10 years ago and did the resto mod look and it was pretty cool. Chrysler colors on Fords make them go faster ya know! lol :hello2:
