You guys from the south have it made. I was gifted this and it came from south of here somewhere. We don't have it here and I haven't noticed it in surrounding states. It is dark sweet with brown sugar notes and a mouth coating sweetness that lasts for a long time. Of course a nice warm Kentucky hug without a throat burn. Hard to believe it's 125 proof, msrp of less than $30, and shares the mash bill with Stag and EH Taylor.

The first of the week a buddie and I participated in a Knob Creek barrel pick through a local store. Those are always fun and I was lucky enough to snag the tasting kit they send. They don't cheap out on this stuff! It will be a fun addition to my Bourbon collection.
Put an online order in late last week for some essentials.....guy from the store just called to say they are out of the one litre bottles, and could he substitute for 750ml bottles....meaning I get a bit more for the same price.
