@Scott Engelhardt or any of you other guys, if you can find a Elijah Craig Barrel proof Batch A123 buy it. It is frickin' delicious. Lots of caramel and some dark fruit. How many ooooo's in smooth! And at 125.6 proof. It is a limited release so look fast. Now, if you get to Waterloo, Hy Vee at Crossroads has a EC barrel pick that is knocking on th door as a damn close second. We should have tried these blind but they are damn close.
I will try to find a bottle. I just finished a bottle of coppercraft that I bought last June.

It is Scott. I cracked it and it is OK but not stellar. I switched to Stark's Elijah Craig barrel pick. Now that is damn good.
There is a lot of bourbon creme bottles out there. They are quite tasty. Put some in your coffee! LOL Refrigerate after opening!

It could be. I think that was a Saturday morning deal I just had to try.
Lat Friday we ventured to the Madison Wisconsin area to Driftless Glen and Dancing Goat Distilleries. We started at Driftless Glen with a great lunch in their restaurant folled by a distillery tour, sampling, and some shopping. It is a great place and their spirits are very tasty and unique.
We left there and traveled south and east of Madison to Dancing Goat. We got in on their free samples and learned about the distillery from the bartender. We didn't tour but I was able to snap a couple shots through the glass into the distillery. Wow, they have some dandy ryes as well and I left there with 3 bottles and a couple Glen Carin's. If you live anywhere close I would highly recommend making the trip. Call ahead if you want a tour.

This is a few shots from Dancing Goat. I didn't take many photos there. Dang. It was a nice place too. Not as big as Driftless Glen but still impressive.

Mike, have you been to Templeton?
Not yet. Ted and I hope to get there and Legendary Rye (Carrol, Ia.) sometime this summer. THere are quite a few here in Ia. Cat's Eye in Bettendorf is on the list as well. We get to Cedar Ridge often but have never done a tour.
I am playing Teacher today. Here's a good video from Jason C from Mash and Drum on You Tube. I have all 3 ryes but have never tasted them side by side until now. Now this is fun.
I had some Templeton last night and my wife had some bubbly vinegar (she calls it wine)
