Strange electronics

Working on my car today and found this box hidden in the trunk partially wired in and have no clue what it is. I know one of the previous owners drag raced

the car some so I thought it might be leftovers from that. Any ideas?

Its some type of CAN Buss interface. They were controlling something with it.

There are a few YouTube videos on the Chrysler Turbo Encabulator. That could be a control module for that.

Sound system?

All it had was the power wire wired in. I also thought it might be part of a sound system but there was no other components to be found
