strange K frame date code#

Picked up this 440HP K frame & the date code is 6 digits long #230036,If I ignore the last 2 digits that would make it a 230th day of 70 build date, I know if there's a #1 with a space after the first 4 digits it would mean what shift but what could 2 more consecutive digits mean, to short to be a parts# and that would be out of corrector, there is no coin or any sign of one being there, this K frame is possibly out of a 71 B body but not sure, any ideas?
