Street strip harmonic balancer ???

The real fluidamper is a heavy bastard and thick, although great quality and working performance. I forgot the weight but I think it was 12-14lbs. The Ati for stock fitment requirements has fewer O-rings which I think is not what I was looking for and I didn't want to spend the extra $ and go through the necessary stuff. The new one I have now is a BHJ sfi with the aluminum hub and I think it weighs 6.8 lbs. Just me but I always try to find leightweight parts. Go to the BHJ website as well as the others and compare before you chose one. I have a ATI book but 4 or 5 years old so they may have something different from what I described. It usually costs more and I maybe go overboard on anything that rotates, gyrates, reciprecates, shoves, pulls, slides but it makes a hell of a difference.

Thanks
Was trying to stay budget minded (, My thought ATI or Fluid damper is overrated for street,/strip)...do was wanting something in the middle

If you use the ATI Super Damper, be aware you'll need a different crank pulley. I ended up using a March w/spacer. Cheaper and less work than spacing everything else out 11/16" .
I agree. I ran into this with the 3 groove steel shell damper. They did offer an aluminum, but they recommended steel for multiple 7k runs.

Here’s what i used, think it was about $175, SFI approved
