Looking to replace my hedman long tube headers on my 72 duster bored 318. I've had alot of problems with these headers as they just will not seal and blow out new gaskets after 100 miles or so and also fitment issues with the power steering so they had to be notched. I'm looking for suggestions on what to replace them with and I'm not really concerned a whole lot about budget. I'll pay extra $ for good fitment. Unsure on what sizes to run also since ill be installing a new 4 bbl 600CFM and intake in place of the old 2bbl. Thanks!

You could check out TTI. They make a very good product, with some choices for your preference...

What prep work have you done, or did you just slap 'em in there ?

TTI. The last headers you'll ever buy. Btw, if you are otherwise happy with the Hedmans, take a look at how flat the flange is. Lay the flange on a flat table. On my old set of hedmans, I went to a engine shop and had them plane them flat. They sealed like new again.
