Not sure how many of you knew Bob, but "Super Bee Bob" or "Bumble Bee Bob" Clarida passed away on Monday. He was diagnosed with cancer roughly a month ago and my understanding started chemo recently. It took the life out of him and he was checked into the hospital on Sunday, and passed on Monday. For those who knew Bob, Bob was everyone's friend and Bob was too good of a guy to be taken like this. He was only 56. Bob had a white 1969 Super Bee with red tail stripe and drove it everywhere. I will miss Bob tremendously. Drive in peace Bob.

Very sad to hear this...R.I.P. Bob.

Sad. Rest in Peace Bob. Too fast and too soon. Wow!

RIP Bob. I'm losing all my friends before they reach 60.

Lee, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. It is a shock to hear this as the last time I saw him he seemed healthy as a horse. He truly was a wonderful person to know and spend time with. I enjoyed seeing and talking to him at many area car shows over the last 15 years or so. I'll miss that in the future for sure. Rest in peace Bob, and thank you for being a friend.

In Memory of Bob, here is his beloved Super Bee at the Wanatah Scarecrow Festival Car Show in 2012.

Lee,
Thank you for posting this sad passing of one of the Great guys who shared the same passion as we all do!
Dave was a die hard enthusiast and he certainly accepted everyone and their cars!
He will surely be missed.
God Bless his family, way too young to leave us!

My heart is heavy and sad as I read this thread, sad. makes me wonder about my own mortality. How will I go? Slow, fast, young , old?so live every day the best you can and tell your loved one's you love them . You never know when your numbers up. Rest in peace Bob,wish I could have meet you

What a sad and scary account. He must have had a terrible strain on cancer to go in a month. God rest his soul. Hope you're driving one of the white Mopars in heaven Bob. RIP.

I hate cancer, didn't know him but pray blessings for his family... RIP. & Gods speed! Too young...

As we get older, it seems this happens more often. I lost a friend not too long ago due to a fatal heart attack. Just a couple of days earlier we were shooting the breeze and laughing and all of a sudden, he's gone. May they rest in peace.....

Yea, it's so sad. Less than a month ago Bob broke the news to me about his cancer but he was very upbeat and swore that he would beat it. He was very much "looking forward to the summer and driving the wheels off the Bee and cruising together with Black Beauty (his name for my Super Bee)." So unbelievable. Bob was such a great guy and not a mean bone in his body. He was/is a friend to everybody.

Yeah a month after diagnosis is extremely quick, must have been really advanced cancer or the chemo was really wrong/strong, but 56 is way too young to die...

{I'm 56 I can relate, I'd hate to leave now or have my kids, my elderly father have to deal with it too, I've see a few people I know well go quick too, it's really tough}

truly sad, sorry for the loss of a great friend too...
My deepest & heartfelt condolences goes out to you & yours, for the loss
also to his family, colleagues & friends
