I always tell by the bias. The passenger side always sits a little higher......unless some spring "legend genius guru expert" ordered two of the same part number. Also, I THINK the 002 and 003 A body springs have the same number of leaves. I could be mistaken.....it's been several years since I've had any, but that's a changin. lol
On a b body they will have an extended front spring hanger. SS springs are made for A body's with a 20 inch front spring segment. B bodys are 22 i think, so a longer front hanger is required. That would be a way to tell.
Yes! Use The Stock Front Mounts! There Are Two Holes On The Top And Two Holes Right Below On The Bottom! The Springs Can Be Adjusted Up And Down! Your Preference!
OK... I checked and I have 6 springs on the passenger side and 5 on the drivers side..... Are these the standard spring set up??? or do I have SS springs??
You don't have SS springs....."maybe" stock performance aka "biased" springs used on Hemi/440 cars. As mentioned above....SS springs require special front spring hangers because the spring is shorter than stock. The SS hangers look kind of "square" with two sets of holes and the stock ones (for non-SS springs) are "5-sided" with only one set of holes.
