Super stock springs

OK. But I believe the hangers you are recommending are for a dodge and not a plymouth. I see that mancini is offer hangers for a 65 Plymouth on their web site.
the mancini website states that the ---97 bracket can be used for 64-65 plymouths. give them a call to make sure the website is correct. if they have something that fits a 65 coronet with stock 21" front segment it should work on a 20" front segment 65 plymouth.

my post on section#8 was wrong its 20 not 21 for front segment length.

why buy extra if you dont have to ?(66-72 22in ) on the short side of the spring measure from center pin to center of bushing .
super stocks are 20 you should not have to drill anything ( if ) you need the bracket . the superstock springs where designed for our cars as most of the parts where (62-65) ! if you had a 1966 up then it would be a different story . i know what you need for your car but if you measure you will get a better understanding of how things work . happy mopar building!! easy peasy

yes you need to change hangers, front segment of the super stock spring is 2 inches shorter. mopar part # is P4120080 for hanger I cant remember how much they were.
I have read all of the comments on this thread with reference to using the proper length hanger for Super Stock Springs however all conversations only went from 1965 to 1963. I have a 1969 Super Bee and was told by the seller the car has Super Stock Springs however no mention of how long the SS Spring hanger is or the length of a regular hanger. When my B is lowered down from a hoist only the right shackle springs forward when the tire starts to touch the ground and has to be pried back into place with a metal bar. Within these comments one member stated if you do not use the SS Spring hangers your driveshaft will not fit. My car is all together and have put some miles on it so would think my driveshaft is fitting as it should however cannot figure out why that right spring shackle keeps jumping forward when the car comes down off the hoist. I do know that putting/installing a 4x4 piece of dense rubber between the shackle and the body will rectify the problem but don't know if it will effect the car's handling or control if I ever do a hard launch.

The SS spring is too short without an extended front hanger on a later B body.
Your options are a longer front hanger or a set of sliders to replace the rear shackles. I have SS springs on my 64 Savoy without any extra long hangers but the 64 uses a shorter spring total length. I have a set of AR Engineering front spring hangers that will give you another inch and that may cure your binding issue. You can try them if you want just let me know.

Thank you for the offer however my Cousin measured the front leaf hangers on my 69 B and they are 5 1/2 inches long.
