I am looking to recover the interior Bench Seats on a 1970 Superbird. The frames are from Arizona, rust free.

Is Legendary the place to go for the most accurate vinyl reproduction?

My seat back back boards are 50 years old and warped. Are the Legendary reproductions accurate including thickness?

My seats were probably used 50 K miles or less butt time, take offs stored in an attic. The springs seem fine. No rust at all on the springs or undercarriage. The original padding has had no vermin living in it and has no smells or odors. Would you repad or keep the original padding? Will reproduction padding have a different feel than original?

Is Legendry's Headliner as accurate as there is?

Their 20% off Fathers Day sale, is that about the best available deal?

I have a Legendary interior in another car and I am happy with it.

Any other hints?

Thanks!!!

For 1970, Legendary back seat covers have the Plymouth emblem embossed in (like original), the Year One do not. Year One 3 month wait. Legendary 9 month wait

I'm fine with the wait.

Buckets have the Plymouth emblem embossed on the back seat.

I don't believe the 1970 Factory Bench Back Seat has the Plymouth Emblem embossed in it.

I have plenty of new seat back metal medallions.

What about the padding, new or reuse original-see above for my description?

Go with Legendary , I waited just over 6 months for my 70 charger bench seat. Buy once and cry once. Expensive but worth it.

Legendary is the best, and I'm almost sure that's what you want for your car.
Replace the padding, it's as old as the car and no matter how good it looks, it is deteriorating. My car has the last set of Chrysler covers that were available. They were bought before I bought the car. I had the padding, foam, and burlap replaced about a year ago due to it breaking down.

Legendary is the way to go. 8 month wait on mine but I understand that they are producing orders quicker now.

Nothing is embossed on the bench seats. You need 4 of the satin chrome pieces and backing plates.

Get legendary covers and new foam.

Headliner? get that from legendary also.

Got my 70 covers from legendary in 6 months... original estimate was 10-12

If you want to wait for it , Legendary is fine, vendors get it first, same mfr. As for the foam, I got the molded seat foam for my buckets, worked fine for the bottoms, couldn't get the covers on the backs, used my old foam on them. It's always something.

Legendary is best quality... Always remember the price is forgotten !!!Long after on a quality made product!

Now the wait
I know the feeling, you pay up front and wait. I made a 3K purchase from Legendary and it all won't be here until almost February of next year. They could at least bill you when your order is ready to ship.
