Superbird windshield trim

I was at the Oak Harbor Mopar show on the weekend and noticed the side windshield moldings are much wider than regular b-bodies. Is this an aerodynamic thing or something else? Thanks.

Yes. On Charger 500's, Daytonas, and Super-birds.

just bought a set a couple of months ago, they are gorgeous...but you might have a grabber when you go to pay for them, lol

Did they remove the original side stainless windshield moldings and put these in place of them or did they put them over the top?
