sway bar bushing withe on 70rr

anyone tell me the widthe of the sway bar bushings on 70rr.the bushings that are new do not bottom out on the plate the brackets bolt to and also wont let the brackets bottom out on the plate.should i put spacers/washers under the bushing brackets?
