Hi all,
I put new shocks on my '68 Super Bee yesterday. I had to remove the sway bar end links to get the bottom bolt out and as I did, I noticed the bushings were hard as a rock, so I want to get new ones. I noticed that there are 2 3/4' and 3 3/4' length end links. Mine are 3 3/4". Out of curiosity...what is the difference (if any) between using 3 3/4" or 2 3/4" end links? I'm going to change the sway bar bushings as well while I'm at it. It looks like everything is polyurethane nowadays...
Also - after putting on the shocks, my steering wheel top center is at 1-2 o'clock where it was straight up at 12 o'clock before. I can't for the life of me understand how putting shocks on would alter the steering wheel orientation. Any thoughts??
Thanks!!! Bob
