Tail light/Turn signal problems 69 coronet

So my short detector didn't work. Go figure. So I checked continuity on each wire like shorthorse said. I went from the turn signal harness plug to the kick panel plug. Then from the kick panel plug to each light in the tail. All of them are fine.(I did remove the bulbs) Which leaves one culprit. The new turn signal harness I wired. I took the old harness wires out of the old plug and put the new ones in the same place. Or so I thought. I must have it wired wrong. My diagram does not show anything from the plug to the turn signal cam. Can anyone take a picture of their turn signal plug to show me the order of the wires on the steering wheel side?

I don't have a picture but the drawing is of the dash harness connector. The turn signal wiring plug should mirror the connector in color arrangement. The drawing has number assignments to each position but I don't know if the plug or connector actually have these positions visibly stamped.
Notes -
1. The turn signal cam plug will only have one wire in each position.
2. The orange wire in the connector is for the transmission indicator light and will not be in the wires associated with your cam unit. If you have a column shift it will still be present.
3. Pay attention to the colors. Some aftermarket units are close but not exact such as light green vs dark green.
4. Positions 9&10 are vacant.

Well i think its all correct the way I have it, I have continuity from the cam switch all the way to each socket. When I turn the signals on its not sending power to the top two wires on the cam. Which is why I only have front passenger and rear driver turn signals. Apparently I got lucky and got a bad one. The one I bought was from classic industries and was expensive. Im gonna try a standard motor company cam and see if can make it work. I really appreciate the help!

Wasn't sure if you got this sorted out but I have been chasing some electrical signal/tail light gremlins since replacing the turn signal cam. Turned out to be a simple fix, but having an old cam for comparison helped. On the replacement part (BWD DR2), the pins were not making proper contact within the switch. Carefully bending them away from the cam, to match the original cam, worked for me. Sometimes new parts need a little persuasion.

Original part on top, notice the pins appear to have more "spring" in them.

I contacted classic industries and they sent me a replacement part. That was cool of them, since I bought the switch from them months ago but just now got my engine in. Just stinks I spent hours thinking I had an issue somewhere in my wiring, not the brand new switch I installed. But yes, I had the same issue as you with the contacts not touching.
