What is this called and where can I find a new one? 20160228_133643.jpg

The holes are for door hinges top of pic is door jam and it goes inside the post for windshield and is spot welded to to rocker panel. I think it may be the A pillar? Just looking for confirmation on what i think it may be. Didn't mean to post pic sideways.

The A-pillar is the frame on either side of the windshield. Why do you need to replace this piece? is it rotted through? you may be fabricating something or looking at a parts car.

What year? It looks to me like early B-body. We have clean used A-pillars.... but only have the 66 and later ones at this time.

1962 Plymouth savoy. Its not completely rotted out there are only a few bad spot. One spot where its welded to the rocker and the other where it goes into the A pillar. Also the top where you have the lip to plug weld to the lower cowl was rusted.
