I was going to put this in electrical but figured I would ask here first. I need to pull my instrument cluster and test all of the indicator lights before I re-install it, how do I go about doing this? I have new bulbs and holders, this is on my 64 Fury.
Thanks!

This is kind of rough but orange would be the lightbulb power side and black would be the ground.

Don’t know how hard it is to pull the cluster, why not put all new bulbs in, then remove the cluster if necessary. Or just test everything while the cluster is in and replace as necessary? Just some thoughts.

I have already had it out and even though all bulbs and holders are new they don’t always work……way ahead of you. Thanks!

Use a continuity tester and check all of those paths to make sure they ring through.

could it be the light switch causing your problems? The rheostat could be bad or corroded.

I want to pretest all my dash lights as well as the indicator lights, head lights are fine as is the dimmer on the main switch. I have replacement circuit boards to replace the originals.
