ok so its been a while since iv'e been here. and i need some help on a 727 rebuild i'm doing. its actually a 727 in a 1974 IHC scout II with a 345 that lost reverse. i just ordered a master kit, and lo-rev band from summit. went to go check my order status i noticed it was for 19 spline input which i understand was the early transmission. (like 62 to 66 or something like that) but from even more research, i haven't found any differences in the 19 and 24 spline transmission guts (frictions, Steels, valve bodies, Etc.) so my question is what is the difference other than the input splines. Pump seal? output shaft seals? pump seals? will this kit work? we are planning a coyote hunting trip and i really want my scout back ha ha. Thanks in Advance everyone!

Early TFs had 2 oil pumps, front and rear. You can push start these cars. The valve bodies and filters are different along with a cable shift. Park has its own cable to apply. Good luck!

Thr front pump support shaft and clutch pack are different.
Yhey should have sent you pump sealing ring and other parts for both.
Plates and clutches are same so are gaskets and seals. If old filter has 2 holes make sure you replace it with same.
Should be no problem
