Finally after a bit of knuckle busting and wrench throwing, (and a lot of great advice from this site), my '70 Belvedere is back on the road! I knew the 360 was stronger but man what a difference. I added a double timing chain, new fuel pump, new oil pan and pickup (360 was out of a truck, so...) and reused my newish water pump, alt, brackets, p/s pump, engine mounts, etc. there's a lot of room for improvement too: The crate 360 has 318 heads, stock cam and stock manifolds-lots of future performance tweaks there. Anyway, a few pics from the journey. Check that nasty freeze plug on the old 318! I'm also removing the Road Runner clone decals and going with a modified Belvedere instead. But I'm keeping that hood!

Thanks to all that helped.

God I love Belvederes. Nothing quite like the torque from extra cubic inches!

Looking good....glad to see I'm not the only one that still throws wrenches.
