When I hit my brakes the left turn signal light in the dash, the left front park and taillight (running not brake) come on. I've replaced the dash t/s and both front and rear bulbs. the right side works like it should. Is it the turnsignal or brake light switch?

I don't suspect either switch, because neither switch "talks" to the tail or parking lamp filaments. You've got a faulty ground, probably at the left brake light.

X2. I had the same problem years ago.

IIRC, there's a pigtail with an eyelet that goes under one of the nuts holding the tail light to the body on the left side; OR the same wire/connector fastened with a sheetmetal screw around the center of the trunk (seen both ways...)

Weel, no pigtail to either taillight nuts. Traced it all the way from the t/l to the connector in the kick panel. No grounds to the body. This just started out of the blue. I hadn't done anything to anything, just got in one day and these light were on. I adjusted the brakelight switch so it's making better contact with the pedal so they stay off while driving but they (the left side lights only) come on when i hit the brakes. Out of time to work anymore on it today. :icon_scratch:
