As a kid I thought his Barracuda was cool. Now I think it's hideous. Robert Blake's character is a case study of a bipolar disease. Extreme highs and lows. I don't know whose Daytona that is in the final scene.

I have a distant connection with that movie. Part of that Movie were filmed at Peach Bowl Speedway in Atlanta Ga. Georgia Tech's campus was nearby, and the college held an annual Gokart race called the Tech 200 for students. The seed I suspect for the current FSAE. In 1971 we raced at The Peach Bowl Speedway (road course) at likely its last race. Being track was demolished in 1972, not sure when Corky was filmed relative to our race.
