Ahhh... the Gen 1 392 Hemi and Gen 2 426 Hemi....
As a MOPAR nation member since 1969 at 7 years old, I could ALWAYS fall back on "Well Chrysler has the 426 Hemi" and THAT is the ultimate mass production muscle motor-of all time-PERIOD!
I have to say that I have come to admire the L-88 450/454, 3x2 bbl 425 horsepower 427, the GSX Buick 455, the SOHC Ford 427 and Boss 429. The 375 horse 327, even the dual quad 302 Chevy small block. Even the Pontiac 421SD/408 horse dual quad motor.
But for LEGENDARY performance, NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can top the 426 Hemi.
Having said that, I am proud and happy to have my 440 6bbl. Really my V-code 70 Roadrunner, that has a steel crank, heavy rods 71 440 in it. It winds higher with ease over my wife's 421 in her GTO, has a deep skirt design block, is a BLAST to drive with the aluminum 6bbl Chrysler/Edelbrock intake. I am NOT afraid of any other manufacturer's big block!
And when I get my stroker RB, the only motor that may top my RB may be a similarly built...HEMI.

HEMI=Either you have one or you want one.

HEMI= Looks good in ANYthing

HEMI= The most powerfull handgun,,,errr,Mean V8 in the world
