Here's an interesting vehicle that was parked at our hotel. Looked like it could have been factory. But why?
I saw that one at the show. It was interesting and seemed to be nicely done for what it was. Kinda made me scratch my head a bit. Here's an interesting vehicle that was parked at our hotel. Looked like it could have been factory. But why?

It's a kit to make a "UTE" with a HEMI. Did you guys see the 225cu in "Valiant" ambulance and "UTE" with the steering on the wrong side, (you know how the kiwis & aussies do things ***-backwards!!!!) ?? They were down from the FBBO tent towards main gate. These kits were a way to get a HEMI "UTE"/"ElCamino" style vehicle with steering on PROPER SIDE and would kick Ford & Holdens ***!!
First, thanks to all who came to the picnic lunch. I think we had about 40 people total, although a number of people were there at different times - some towards the beginning and some towards the end. A lot of people helped in some way, so thank you to all that helped, including contributing towards tent costs through the "tip box". In the end, the FBBO tent only cost me $20, so that was very reasonable, thanks to the folks that contributed. I have still not been able to get in contact with Carlisle personnel to see if we had enough registrants to make the tent free next year, but that is a task for another day.
Apologies if I wasn't able to chat with many of you - I was pretty busy at the grill for a while! At any rate, I hope folks got a chance to meet some other FBBO members and have a good time.
Here are a couple of additional pictures:
This was my humble abode for the time I was at Carlisle. You can see the tent in front of the truck. Steve (@FU64RY ) was our neighbor to the left. Great to hang out with him - thanks Steve for a good time!

This was cool and different. An executive car that allowed the front seat to swivel backwards to have a meeting in the car!

Nice looking car. We seen it walking thru the field but had no idea it belonged to a member on here. Look forward to seeing it again next yearI don’t post a whole lot, but this was the first time I’ve attended a Mopar event with a car and it was an awesome experience. It wore me out but had a great time over the weekend. This was the first time I’ve had my Charger out since it was wrecked in 2016. I literally finished it Thursday, then loaded it in the trailer and headed to Carlisle Friday morning. Got home at 9:30 this morning and have been trying to recoup since. Looking forward to the next one.

Stickers?Ok, time to fess up. How many of you folks had your FBBO stickers prominently displayed?
Parts stacked by trash cans??? All I saw there was a pile of K car consoles...It was a great show despite the HEAVY rains at times early in the show.. Got rid of lots of parts but went back today and it was a GHOST town.. Normally that's when I can find some stuff i wasn't able to hunt for because of being married to my spaces.. I heard lots were complaining they didn't sell much but the days of selling junk are loonnng gone and many left parts stacked by the trash cans...On another note I was able to see my friends great looking 71 V-code GTX in the old school paint section of cars as he just got it back a few weeks ago...
Yes I left at 11 and there was rusty Cuda fenders, Dart fenders, Dodge truck hoods and doors, Steering pumps aluminum trim etc....Parts stacked by trash cans??? All I saw there was a pile of K car consoles...
Worst was I was going to buy a few electrical things but they were soaked because people didn't even care to cover them up.Yes I left at 11 and there was rusty Cuda fenders, Dart fenders, Dodge truck hoods and doors, Steering pumps aluminum trim etc....
