Don't watch a lot of the reality shows (a few). i'd rather read about history in my books and novels.
Took the words out of my mouth. Love buried treasure and Oak Island definitely has something there. They nev r r seem to be getting anywhere and I gave them a season and a half.I watched it last year & in the end, they found nothing. Now it's on again for season 2 and I can see that it'll be a repeat of last year. After each commercial break, there's about 3 minutes of recap from before the break, plus stories that they've repeated several times. Each hour long show has about 10 minutes of real content and after each episode, they come up empty.
I'm a sucker for watching buried treasure shows, but this thing is just one big disappointment. I'll admit that the show has me somewhat hooked, but rather than watching it when it's on, I just record it and fast-forward though 75% of the show.
Has anyone else watched this series on the History Channel?
I like that quote!I find it an interesting waste of time.

I am very interested in the show. I saw the same Readers Digest story back about 1965. Always wondered what happened. However, tonights show, I'm about to give up . When are they going to find something in the bored hole? Looks like not anytime soon...........................MOI'm watching the show again & I can't explain why! they just keep finding nothing..
Well, someone should post it.
Guess it might as well be me.
I guess if they ever do find a lot of treasure, they wouldn't need the show to make money.. Everything would be locked down and secret. These episodes are filmed some time before airing, If they did find something big, I would think it would be leaked to the news......................MOThe reason they never find anything is simple, if they did it would be the end of the show.
